Camryn Joseph, LPCC

My journey — from self-doubt to self-trust, from the depths of anxiety to embodied wholeness — helps guide how I support women and girls to heal in mind, body and spirit.

As a recovering perfectionist and people-pleaser, I’ve known anxiety, self-doubt, and the ache of never feeling enough. Over time, I began letting go of what was never mine to carry.

In 2016, on a rooftop in India, Reiki found me just as I could no longer ignore the changes I needed to make to live authentically. Something in me cracked open. I remember the rawness of that moment: tears, warm air, and a quiet inner voice urging me to stay with myself rather than numb or disconnect.

Since then, energy work, yoga, meditation, nature, ritual, and therapy have helped me reclaim the parts of myself I once abandoned. Through this inner work, I’ve learned to gently reparent the little girl who never felt enough, offering her the compassion she always needed.

These practices taught me that we are so much more than our minds. When we tune into our bodies, spirits, and energy, we access deeper wisdom, intuition, and steady guidance that leads us toward healing. Tending to all parts of myself has transformed how I move through the world and remains the foundation of my healing.

Motherhood brought this work to life in profound ways. It has been both an unraveling and a homecoming, where the ache of inadequacy meets a deep knowing that I am the perfect mother for my daughters. This lived experience calls me to support mothers, because motherhood is a portal: a transformative passage that asks us to grow, shed old patterns, and step into more authentic versions of ourselves. When mothers have the support and safety to heal, that healing ripples across generations.

Therapy with me is collaborative and experiential. We slow down and make space for what’s happening in the moment: the feelings, sensations, and patterns that arise within and between us. I bring warmth, curiosity, and respect for the complexity of being human. My intention isn’t to fix you, but to help you reconnect with the wisdom, resilience, and clarity that have always been yours, and to help you feel more authentic, intentional, and deeply connected.

Who I Work With

I support women, men, parents, non-binary folks, and teen girls through seasons of stress, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. My work centers on helping people reconnect with their inner wisdom, heal past wounds, and step more fully into their authentic, whole selves.

My deepest passion is working with women in the perinatal period — preparing for birth or postpartum, navigating infertility or loss, healing from birth trauma, or facing the everyday challenges of parenthood.

I help mothers move through the profound transformation of matrescence with compassion, resilience, and joy. I also walk alongside partners and parents as they navigate stress, change, and parenting challenges while striving for deeper family connection.

I support teen girls as they build self-esteem, process big emotions, and form a grounded sense of identity — work that feels especially meaningful as I raise two daughters of my own.

What I bring

Before I’m a therapist, I’m a human — a mother, partner, daughter, sister. I show up with presence, authenticity, and deep respect for the courage it takes to be vulnerable.

My approach is holistic and integrative, honoring mind, body, and spirit. I weave together mindfulness, IFS, somatic therapy, trauma-informed care, ecotherapy, energy work, and evidence-based talk therapy. My background in yoga and Reiki helps clients cultivate mind-body awareness, strengthen nervous system regulation, and release patterns that no longer serve them.

When aligned, I integrate Reiki with therapy so we can work on two levels at once: speaking your story while tending to what lives beneath the words. Reiki can soften and open the body to deeper therapeutic work, while therapy helps integrate energetic shifts into lasting change.

I am committed to creating a grounded, non-judgmental space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered in your healing. If this resonates, I invite you to schedule a consult call.

Beyond the Therapy Room

You can find me exploring nature with my family and dreaming of our next big adventure. Filling my dinner table and backyard with friends, neighbors, moms, and babies. Making imperfect pottery and loving the messy process. Staying up too late reading romantasy and rewatching Schitt’s Creek. Rooting deeply in gratitude for my people, mama earth and this incredible work.
