Private Practice Development & Mentorship

Supporting other therapists is what I do best!

Support for Therapists

Business guidance with heart, clarity, and lived experience

As a therapist in private practice, I understand how personal and layered this work can be—not just the clinical work, but the business side too. The decision to build or grow a private practice is often driven by purpose and hope, but it can also bring up uncertainty, self-doubt, and logistical overwhelm. Over the years, I’ve carved out a practice that reflects my values, supports my well-being, and allows me to show up fully for my clients. I now support other therapists who want to do the same.

What I Offer

Collaborative Consultation

These sessions are not quick-fix business coaching or productivity sprints. They’re intentional spaces where we pause together to look at your practice with clarity and care. We start by identifying what’s working and where there’s friction—then explore what’s underneath. Sometimes it’s about practical changes, like your scheduling model or fee structure. Other times, it’s deeper: boundary challenges, imposter syndrome, or feeling disconnected from your work.

Our work together is collaborative. You bring your questions, ideas, and stuck points—I bring my experience, presence, and honest reflection. Whether you’re building something new or tending to a practice that no longer fits, we’ll make space for the real conversation. And from there, we’ll map out next steps that feel sustainable and aligned.

Niche and Ideal Client Clarity

So many therapists were trained to be generalists—taught to be available to “anyone who needs help.” But over time, we start to notice who we do our best work with. We feel the pull toward certain populations or themes. Honoring that clarity is often a turning point.

I help therapists name who they truly want to serve, and why. Together, we explore your lived experience, clinical interests, and nervous system capacity—not just what’s marketable. From there, we can look at how to reshape your practice around that niche: your messaging, your intake process, your schedule, even your internal sense of permission. When your practice reflects your deepest yes, the work becomes more meaningful and sustainable—for you and your clients.

Trusted Referrals

Private practice involves so much more than clinical work. There are systems to set up, taxes to file, legal questions to navigate, and decisions about how to structure your business. It can feel overwhelming, especially when you're trying to figure it out alone.

While I don’t provide legal or financial services myself, I’ve built relationships with professionals who do—people who are ethical, trauma-informed, and understand the nuances of running a private practice. I’m happy to connect you with trusted attorneys, accountants, tax professionals, and systems experts who can support your growth in a grounded and informed way. You don’t have to piece this together from scratch.

Website Design & Development Support

Your website is often the first impression potential clients or consultees have of you. It’s more than a digital business card—it’s a reflection of your voice, your values, and the kind of space you hold. A well-crafted website can help clients feel seen and safe before they ever walk through your door.

I support therapists in creating websites that are clear, honest, and true to who they are. If you've spent some time on my website, you've already seen an example of this approach in action. I built my site to reflect the same qualities I bring to therapy: calm, directness, warmth, and depth - with just a hint of goofy (see pics below).  There’s no salesy language or forced branding—just a clear invitation for the right people to connect.

Whether you're building a site from scratch or updating an old one, I can help you with:

  • Writing authentic copy that sounds like you

  • Structuring your pages for ease and flow

  • Choosing design elements that reflect your clinical style

  • Offering honest feedback on what’s landing and what might be confusing

  • Navigating platforms like Squarespace in a manageable way

You don’t need to become a marketing expert or hire a big design firm. With the right guidance, your website can be both beautiful and functional—an extension of your practice that feels grounded and real.

These EPIC photos are from a JC Penny photo shoot for my husband’s birthday this year. I keep finding ways to incorporate them into the website because they are so good!
