Hi there!
I’m Amy, the founder of Rebuilding Together Counseling, a private practice in Lakewood, Colorado built not just on theory, but on real-life experience with trauma, grief, self-worth, and rebirth. As a counselor, a certified EMDR therapist, and a woman who has walked through hell and come out on the other side, I understand what it is like to fall apart and have to scramble to figure out who you are. It is now my mission to show up as my whole, messy, authentic self.

I work with women who are ready to tear down the walls, internal and external, that keep you small. I want you to look in the mirror, throw off the shame, the doubt, the lack of self-esteem and finally shout, “I deserve to be seen. I deserve to be loved. I deserve to take up space.”
That’s not just therapy, that’s a revolution.

I specialize in trauma, grief, self-esteem, and deep empowerment work. My approach weaves together EMDR, DBT, IFS, and other trauma-informed models to help you get to the core of who you truly are.
I especially love working with other therapists because yes, we need support too. This is sacred work, and it’s okay to need someone who understands both sides of the couch.

Amy Specializes in working with the following populations and mental health diagnoses:
women, the queer community, clinicians, anxiety disorders (e.g., generalized anxiety, panic disorder, social anxiety), Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex PTSD (C-PTSD), grief and bereavement-related mental health issues, ADHD and neurodivergence.
Amy works with women, and female-bodied non-binary individuals.
Amy offers a rate of $185 per session. She is in network with most major insurance companies, including Kaiser.
Amy is available M-TH from 9-3 pm with limited Friday availability from 9-11. Telehealth only.
