Couples Counseling
Struggles Are a Natural Part of Any Relationship
When relationship difficulties arise, it’s normal to feel a range of emotions and even question your connection. The pain of disconnection or conflict can manifest in many ways, including:
Increased arguments or tension
Emotional distance or feeling disconnected
Difficulty finding common ground
Intense feelings of frustration or hopelessness
Lack of intimacy or emotional fulfillment
Increased anxiety or stress
A sense of loneliness or isolation, even within the marriage
Difficulty trusting or communicating openly
Self-doubt or questioning the relationship’s future
Withdrawal from your partner or avoidance of difficult conversations
Sudden outbursts of anger or irritability
Physical or emotional exhaustion
Uncertainty about next steps or decisions
Our couples therapists are trained in Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and IFS, and we welcome all relationship structures including LGBTQIA+ couples and ethically non-monogamous partnerships. We offer in-person sessions in Boulder and the Denver metro area, as well as telehealth across Colorado.
