Madison Scott, MFT-C

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the patterns that shape how we love, connect, and protect ourselves.

Like many people, I've had seasons where I felt stuck; repeating what I didn't want, unsure why change felt so hard. Over time I learned that those patterns weren't failures; they were protectors. They made sense once I began to listen to the stories, emotions, and experiences underneath.

That realization changed everything for me. It led me toward this work of helping others understand the ways their histories, relationships, and nervous systems intertwine. I believe healing happens in relationship; with ourselves, with others, and within the body itself. My goal isn't to fix you; it's to help you reconnect with the wisdom, resilience, and clarity that have always been yours, so you can feel more authentic, intentional, and deeply connected.

  • I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relational disconnection, anxiety, complex trauma, attachment wounds, perfectionism, people-pleasing, obsessive relationship patterns, and life transitions. Many of my clients feel caught in repetitive cycles; craving closeness but fearing vulnerability, striving for change yet unsure how to trust it.

Together we explore the deeper roots of those patterns and practice new ways of relating to yourself, to your partner, and to the world around you. I welcome women, men, teens, couples, and families, including those in ethically non-monogamous relationships.

  • I use an integrative approach weaving together Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Brainspotting. Because real change isn't just cognitive, I also incorporate somatic awareness, helping you notice how your body holds and releases what words can't always reach.

Therapy with me is collaborative and experiential. We slow down and make space for what's actually happening in the moment; the feelings, sensations, and patterns that arise within and between us. I bring warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for the complexity of being human.

  • I’m a firm believer that healing doesn’t happen only in the office. I find my own grounding through time outdoors, creative movement, and connection with community and loved ones. I see therapy as a living process; one that invites both courage and compassion.

Growth rarely unfolds in straight lines. But it does unfold, one moment of awareness, truth, and self-trust at a time.

    Let’s begin there.
