I am not accepting new clinical clients at this time. I am accepting mentees for my business mentorship program.

Once upon a time, I was a full-blown, beautiful disaster of a human. At 41, I hit absolute rock bottom — after a soul-shattering divorce, a heart full of unprocessed grief, and a PTSD diagnosis that cracked my life wide open. What came next was nothing short of a full-blown reconstruction of my identity, my soul, and my purpose. With the help of incredible therapists, raw courage, and more grit than I thought possible, I rebuilt myself from the ground up.

And now? I help other women do the same.

I am the founder of Rebuilding Together Counseling, a private practice in Lakewood, Colorado — built not just on theory, but on real-life experience with trauma, grief, self-worth, and rebirth. As a counselor, a certified EMDR therapist, and a woman who has walked through fire, it’s my mission to show up as my whole, messy, badass, authentic self — every. damn. day.

I work primarily with women (and fellow therapists!) who are ready to tear down the walls — internal and external — that keep us small. I want you to look in the mirror, throw off the shame, and finally shout, “I deserve to be seen. I deserve to be loved. I deserve to take up space.” That’s not just therapy — that’s a revolution.

What I Do:

At Rebuilding Together Counseling, I specialize in trauma, grief, self-esteem, and deep empowerment work. My approach weaves together EMDR, Flash Technique, IFS, and other trauma-informed models to help you get to the root — and heal for real. I’m currently earning my certification in IFS-informed EMDR, because the healing never stops, for any of us.

I especially love working with other therapists — because yes, we need support too. This is sacred work, and it’s okay to need someone who understands both sides of the couch.

What I’ve Built:

This isn’t just a practice — it’s a purpose. I went back to grad school at 43, as a single mom, because I knew I was meant for more. I launched this business in the middle of real life: menopause, parenting teens, supporting a child with an eating disorder, navigating a blended family of five humans and four needy rescue dogs. And through it all, I built something powerful — a business that changes lives, including my own.

This isn’t polished perfection. This is the real, raw, rebellious path of healing and rising. My practice is rooted in radical honesty, deep empathy, fierce vulnerability, and (yes) a whole lot of swearing. I believe that you can be both falling apart and rising strong — and I’m here for all of it.

Beyond the Therapy Room:

When I’m not holding space for others, I’m probably:

  • Tending (or neglecting) my 102 houseplants 🌿

  • Designing websites, rearranging furniture, or hunting for a perfect vintage find

  • Talking openly about menopause, hormone therapy, and all the real stuff no one warns us about

  • Loving on my husband — who I married at 46 after a wild, winding path to true love

  • Showing up for my kids, my clients, my community — and myself
