ADHD in women is often missed. Not because it isn’t there, but because it doesn’t look the way we’ve been taught to recognize it. Instead of hyperactivity, it can look like overwhelm, perfectionism, anxiety, or quiet exhaustion. Many women learn to mask their struggles, working harder to keep up while feeling like they’re constantly falling behind. What gets labeled as “too sensitive,” “disorganized,” or “just stressed” is often something deeper.
